Placed among sand and rocks, isolation manifests in the midst of the desert out of which a retreat emerges. Hosting over 100 people, resort forms around the relationship with the landscape - specifically, (the lack of) water and sand. Restaurant, lounge, en suite, as well as staff building and amenities, unfold as the result of shaping the landscape - the inspiration comes from exploring of solid and organic forms.
